As a perfect eco-friendly festival participants:

1.Instead of printing your ticket, keep a digital copy of it for verification.

Take reusable utensils with you: a bottle for water and other drinks, a mug, a mess tin and cutlery. If you don’t have one, you can equip them at Ethy’s sales stand next to the eating area. There you will find thermoses, bottles and mugs holding high and low temperature, lunchboxes, silicone containers for storing food and reusable cutlery and straws.

If possible, bring old, non-wearable knitted garments such as t-shirts, leggings or dresses to the “Remake IT” upcycling workshop. Even if you do not take part in the workshops, such materials will be useful to others who will give them a new life.

To get to the festival, use public transport, come by bike or go with other festival participants. If you are coming from far away, plant a few trees or allocate funds to temporary trees to neutralize your carbon footprint.

Use only natural cosmetics – bring them with you or equip yourself with such flowers. Never use cosmetics in the lake – even natural cosmetics can have a destructive effect on the aquatic ecosystem (especially concentrated agents such as essential oils).

Never take care of physiological meals in the lake – such ingredients also have a negative impact on the aquatic ecosystem.

Take short showers, preferably cold (as a healthy source, because it strengthens immunity, and ecological – energy is used to heat the water, which emits subsequent portions of CO2).

Waste is a valuable resource, so please put it in the designated colored bins. Make sure the waste goes to the correct bin. If you see waste on the ground, be kind to throw it in segregation too.

You probably do not smoke cigarettes, but if you generate pet waste, use a screw-on pocket ashtray. Then throw these into mixed waste.

Think a few times before you buy something. Thanks to this, you will buy only what you really need (which does not exclude the purchase that is simply a pleasure – this one is also very important). If you already buy something, make sure that they are of the highest quality, i.e. made of durable, preferably natural materials, the origin of which is known (you can ask about it), and the production process is ethical.

Try to pay in cash or digitally – when we pay by card (which seems to be the most hygienic solution today), we get two to three times more poisonous receipts – BPA cards with poisonous ink that not only pollute the planet (they cannot be recycled) , but also disrupt the human endocrine system and cause many diseases.

Charge electronic equipment at the photovoltaic station.

Maintain adequate body hydration, get enough sleep, move a lot, e.g. by dancing or using the space in the Ground of Movement, relax, do not judge others, think and affirm positively, smile – mental and physical health builds immunity, and high immunity it means less consumption, better well-being and more energy to make the world better.

Remember to respect the space you are in, treat plants and animals gently, without making noise in non-festival spaces.

Be kind and helpful to others, willingly complimenting their eco-habits, helping to segregate waste, etc.

Make sure you don’t leave any of your belongings at the campsite after the festival.

We would like to thank Ethy, that is the Eco Partner of the Wibracje Festival, for preparing the guide.

Ethy is an award-winning ecological project connecting people all over the world. Ethy will power how easy it is to form conscious habits and adoption with consumers voting wallet and everyday attitude so that the world is a better place for all inhabitants and the choices of generations. The eco world map Ethy Maps and the holistic ecological education Ethy Life are two spaces that combine in one place the answer to the question:

“What can I do to help to fix the world and make my life easier?”

See what else we do at Wibracje Festival, to reduce the negative impact on the environment.
